If you’ve thrown a quick look at the right sidebar menu today, you have probably noticed that there is a new option for subscribing to Silent Sound Waves called “Newsletter”. We are replacing the old e-mail subscription option with the newsletter, as it offers much more practical functions that are useful for us, and more importantly, for all of you who want to stay updated with what’s going on here at SSW. Read on for more information on how it works, and how you can win a CD by subscribing!
First and foremost it is easier to subscribe to the newsletter than it was with the old e-mail subscription method. Now all you have to do is input your e-mail address in the text field and hit submit, and you will be signed up. Of course, you’ll have to verify your subscription through a confirmation e-mail, because we don’t want anyone signing up people just for fun (there’s no fun in that).
As a newsletter subscriber, you will receive an e-mail with the new posts and articles from SSW every Monday and Thursday. We believe this to be much more practical than receiving an e-mail every time we update, because in that case you could end up with three e-mails from us in a single day, and nobody likes a clogged up inbox.
Moving on the competition, we are giving out two copies of the Exceptional Edward’s debut LP Lost at Sea. As can tell from our Fresh Waves article on these guys, this is a CD well worth owning, and all you have to do to be eligible for a copy is subscribe to our newsletter! By signing up and confirming your subscription before February 25th you will automatically be entered in the draw. The winners will be randomly drawn from our list of subscribers and announced on the 26th.
