Jack’s Mannequin to release “pre-release” EP!

Jack's Mannequin will be releasing a pre-release EP titled Ghost Over Ground on August 5th.

Out of all the albums coming out this year my most anticipated reward goes without a single shred of a doubt to Jack’s Mannequin’s upcoming The Glass Passenger, which is set to be released on September 30th. After releasing next to no new material since their debut album Everything in Transit back in 2005, I get shivers down my spine just thinking about finally treating my ears to a new full-length album from Andrew McMahon and the rest of the band.

Apart from opening up for pre-orders of the new album which includes instant access to a new song titled Miss California, the band recently issued a press release announcing that they will be releasing a pre-release EP titled Ghost Over Ground. The EP, set to be released on August 5th, will include new songs from the upcoming album, as well as previously unreleased live material from their previous album. There is no word so far on how the EP will be released and whether or not it will be only digital, or physical CD or 7″ vinyl as well. It has however been confirmed on their official website that the new album will be accessible in all formats.
