Jack’s Mannequin releases Ghost Over Ground EP
Jack's Mannequin's Ghost Over Ground EP is now available at iTunes.
Jack’s Mannequin’s “while we wait” EP (which is what it should have been called) titled Ghost Over Ground was released on iTunes yesterday. It includes the first single from the upcoming album The Glass Passenger entitled The Resolution, and if this is any indication of what is to come on the new album, well then Andrew McMahon and the rest of the band have a winner on their hands.
Apart from this song, it also includes a b-side called Bloodshot, as well as live recordings of the songs Holiday From Real and Kill The Messenger from their debut album Everything in Transit.
According to the fansite JacksMannequin.org, the EP have sold extremely well in the first 24 hours, surpassing artists such as Miley Cyrus and Lil’ Wayne. This just goes to show how anticipated the release of the album is among the fans, and that September 30th just can’t come around too soon for those of us who are waiting impatiently.
PS: The EP is only available at US iTunes store at the moment. Let’s hope that they rectify this as soon as possible so that those of us who are situated elsewhere don’t have to turn ourselves into pirates for something that costs less than ten dollars.
