One of our favourite albums of 2008, The End is Not the End by the Ohio-based quartet House of Heroes has finally been released physically. While the album was released digitally in the fall of 2008, you have only been able to purchase the CD at their live shows, but from today you will finally be able to find it in stores as well.

The physical release features two previously unreleased bonus tracks, and is a must have for every fan, and more importantly, everyone who has yet to be amazed by this band. Below you can listen to the second track of the record called If. It’s a reflected and rocked up tale of love, and gives a good impression of the general sound of the band.

In The Valley of the Dying Sun, which you can listen to and see the video for below, is one of the the strongest song off the album. It’s a perfect example of diversity through pulling in different elements from different genres, but at the same time the fluid transmissions between the different elements of the song ensures a coherent and almost epid sound.
