About

Silent Sound Waves is, as you might have discovered already, something as unoriginal as a music blog. It is a place for the writers to share our opinions on music we like and dislike and share the music news that excite us. Unlike the larger musical online outlets that post tens of new posts every day, we will never try to stay on top of everything that happens in the scene, but what we decide to write about will be filtered by the authors’ own personal tastes.

Simultaneously the various writers represent different musical likes and dislikes, and such Silent Sound Waves will never be limited to any certain types of music or genres. If you have tips and suggestions that you think one of the authors will find compelling and interesting you can use the contact page to get in touch with us.

The Silent Sound Waves staff team currently consists of:

Lars-Christian Simonsen
Always listening to and exploring new music, it was the notion of sharing the sound of those less known artists that caught his attention which drove Lars-Christian to realize an idea he had been carrying for years about starting a music blog. The name Silent Sound Waves was derived from a song called “Silent Sounds” created by a friend of him. In addition to writing for and taking care of Silent Sound Waves, Lars-Christian also has his own personal blog at http://lars-christian.com.

Matt Sanderlin
Matt Sanderlin has always had a passion for music. Even at a young age, before he understood how music was created, he knew his path in life would be surrounded by notes and lyrics. Matt eventually picked up the guitar and began writing his own compositions. He still writes and records his own original music, which can be found at http://www.myspace.com/mattsanderlin. Matt also wanted to gain experience in music journalism and professionally examining musical acts and artists, and found a perfect opportunity to do this here on Silent Sound Waves.
